December with Gus
A Close up of “December”….. of the boxwood kitties.

Gus is quite pleased to have kitties in the house, as you can imagine these
little darlings are not suffering for attention!

Oh… “Welcome to you too Sweet December!” Sweet Gus… too… what a love~
Precious memories! Gus’ curls are sooo adorable!!! Reminds me of my baby brother about 36 years ago. Tuggin’ on my heartstrings,

I am such a cat lover! Thanks for sharing the photos, they are both darling! What a great story! Happy holidays
I love it! As anyone can see by going to my blog, I am a huge animal lover and rescuer. Yellow kittens remind me of Puff from the Dick and Jane books that we had in 1st grade back in the early 60’s. I adored little PUFF. Your kitties look so much like Puff. Congrats!

Thank you for taking the time to do that……..!!!!!
I just had to share those pics..i knew you would chuckle! Gus was all jazzed up in his superhero combo of superman and power rangers, he had the stripped hat that he nabbed form our ornament box, marching up the stairs to find December ( whom he now calls Christmas…he really is ruling the roost around here you know!) so I followed …and it was just killing me!! there you have the background details now too! I love ANDREA…that December reminds you off” PUFF”…you are so right, i love those books so much!! YVETTE…all of our big old cats died a few years ago…they were all so sweet…and then every few years….poof…another kitty gone to heaven! So, this has been too much fun!
kisses to you all….on a very pretty snowy day!!…brrrr!!!

I know it is cold outside….when we went to my Sons house…traveling along the highway I pictured it like the lens of a camera…it was in different shades of grey….black and muted whites and there in the morning sky was that awesome big yellow sun…..now that was a picture to store in your mind…you use that camera and surprise us to no end…..its such a delight….bundle up as you journey home as our God made us aware and gave us the cold….then he will shower us with warmth in the summer…..we need both just so we can experience the difference…cool huh????
Precious little Gus…those little toes are so kissable! This will be a kitty Christmas to remember for your family!
Oh my Goodness! This is all so…heartwarming !
You Porters are so full of love and generosity.
The more you give the more you get-animals are just one aspect of this wonderful connection. Tracy these pictures are full of love.xo Jean
Sooo cute!!
Just when it seemed nothing could be cuter than your earlier post today…you put these up! Such splendiferous cuteness! Don’t you love it when children find ways to make an experience their own? Gus grabbing the ornament hat to put on the kitty…that impish little grin…the costume…and won’t it be fun to show him these photos when he’s about 17?
Tracy, I just loved hearing about the boxwood kitties! What a great story and wonderful memory for your kids. We did the same thing a few years ago when a teeny tiny kitty appeared in our yard. We used the same kind of trap and and now Martha is 7 yrs. old! Your story reminded me of how much fun that was. xoxo
