What a fun thing to wake up to this morning!!! Hubby and I are celebrating Valentines a week early, so these gems will come in handy.
I’m feeling creative!!!
I sure DO send Valentines! Another excuse to send something special to the many “someones” I love. (Love the written word, creating hand-made cards and placing stamps on the envelope, writing out the names and addresses (being a calligrapher, it really IS a delight to ‘play’ with and embellish the names and such!) Thank you for these BEAUTIFUL Valentine creations to print out. I know I will have fun ‘playing’ with these! Thank you for always sharing, Trace~ xoxoxox~*~*~*~Sandi
OH THANK YOU!!! LOVELY JUST LOVELY…Tracy I know you would enjoy PINK MARTINI (a wonderful band from Portland Oregon). Their music is described as “vintage music”-so up your alley!!! It is wonderful….My husband and I play it constantly when on vacation in Florida…I ride my bike (with a big basket attached to the front) to the local fish market…purchase some fresh tuna steaks and prepare them while playing this jazzy music and sipping wine!!!! I am smiling now thinking about it!!!!
BEAUTIFUL DAY TO ALL!!!
Thank you so much Tracy. Darling Valentines!!! And, for filling my day, once again, with a bright cupids arrow to enhance my day! A day without Tracy is a day without sunshine!!
I am with Valery. Many LOVES and yet God is my real, true ONE AND ONLY. I will send it to the heavens to Him…on angels wings.
Delectable indeed!!!Those are just incredibly charming vibrant and lovely all at once…ya know CAAMEO is going to be looking for the “smokey eye” to go along with them…Heidi and Nicole had them at the GRAMMY’s…what a show…did you watch??? VALERY, happy Moinday to you!!!!!!!!and Tracy, as always, keep thrilling our hearts with all your creative passions…Margie
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you’ll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they’re worth taking
Lovin’ might be a mistake
But it’s worth making
Don’t let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you’ll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

Tracy, Thanks for the beautiful cards!! Such fun, and so very pretty and fanciful! You are the best. Valery, I am watching for the new Coco movie!! Can’t wait! My closet was torn apart this weekend in the haste to get outside and enjoy every minute of this snow. Since we don’t ski very often, I had to pull out ALL of the ski clothes. Well, the sun is back out. I work today and tomorrow, but then I can work on putting everything back in order. Yes, I pray, love God, and am so thankful for the blessings and goodness in life! Tina P., LOVE the story of the bicycle, fish market and the fun music. Warm sunny skies and the one you love…… life is good, yes?
My precious husband and I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day in San Francisco! We will be there for a wedding. Can’t wait!! Tracy, I am going to try to find several newspapers in chinese to bring home. I love the idea of wrapping gifts with them! You are brilliant. I think my children will really think this is fun. Hope everyone has a great day!
Oh Tracey, Thank you for the beautiful Valentines!!! Was searching for something to uplift my spirit and there you are. I should have known you would be! Tracy, I loved the video you did last Valentines; the one in which you filled clear cellophane bags with treats and then tied them with an embellished shipping tag. I’m planning on using these Valentines, too, for the tags on those bags. They’re beautiful. Thank you. Any other quick ideas for Valentine treats? TINA P, last week I listened to Pink Martini based on your(?) recommendation. They’re great…especially the two Latin-influenced CDs – plan on getting them both.
TRACY……….YES….YES…. THE NEW DVD coming out around Feb….12.15…..is called “Coco Before Chanel” ………..and the new movie at the theater starts this friday called Dear John……Nicholas Sparks….love story………Having lunch…two hard boiled eggs….they are yummy….I can feel the F A T dropping off…….cant wait…..XOXOXOOXOXO
I just printed out the little valentines on cardstock and they are WONDERFUL! I will cut them out with my wavy scissors and back them with another vibrant color cardstock. So exciting! I love Valentine’s day-more than christmas-can you believe that? Being on the west coast I am little later getting up and seeing what’s going on but better late than never!
Tracy, I am wearing my beautiful charcoal sweater wrap (is that what you called it??) and I just LOVE it. So cozy, I swore I’d never, but I took the plunge and am wearing leggings with it!! haha. You are right though, sooo comfortable and cozy, yet still presentable! I just wanted to comment and thank you for your gorgeous clothes. really makes my day! It is not a good day healthwise, in bed and at home today…so I am just LOVE LOVE LOVING the fact that your sweater wrap is so delectably soft and cozy. Makes me feel good to be in beautiful things instead of going for trackpants or something! I have been pining (yes its true! no exaggeration!) for the Folklore Kisses sweater, and of course when I go to purchase it, there are no more smalls. It is such a beautiful piece of art. I really hope you get more smalls in! Must have it!!
ooh! and the valentines! beauuuuutiful! I have never been one to send valentines because I used to thinkt it was just a ‘hallmark holiday’ you know?? but I thought about it for a while and remembered how my grandma used to always send us a valentines marked ‘ love your valentine’ with a $5 bill in it for a little something. : ) Always, always made my day, even as an adult!…and now that she is gone, I realized just how wonderful it is. I am carrying it on now…It is ALWAYS wonderful to remind people and BE reminded that you are loved! Reguardless of the ‘hallmark holiday’! So this year I have made valentines to send, thanks for the inspiration!
I love seeing with your eyes. Such bright colors!
Tracy…Merci for the sweet Valentines! I will have fun making these my own. Plum Blossom and I are planning to make LOTS of Valentines this year too. Last year I made the valentine heart chocolate boxes for so many..and I plan on making them again…they are just so sweet…I have re-watched both valentine videos from last year…they give me such inspiration. Sweet Kisses for today…xoxo
Oh, thank you so much Tracy. Those are lovely! You are so giving… your inspiration, passion, ideas, tips, art, happiness, optimism, positive mood, etc. You are like my “internet mentor”. LOL! No, really. I absolutely enjoy listening to your radio show while i’m working on my PC, seeping tea… it’s so therapeutic! Thanks again for all that you do. Lots of kisses & blessing to you and your beautiful family!
I would love to see how you would decorate the space above kitchen cabinets I have a rooster, a small lamp, a basket of lavender…then I just go blank!I help people decorate all of the time and I actually have a small boutique of my own but when it comes to this space for myself everything seems so “on purpose” and I want something unique. Also where would one find the cute little mirrors you put in all of your vignettes? I don’t see them on your website. I love your style…wish you could spend a day in my home giving it your special touch. Paula
Thank you so very, very much! You are sooooo generous in all you do! They are beyond beautiful! Much LOVE to ALL at TRACY PORTER!
You’ve done it again, Tracy and Team! These are beautiful…I still have last year’s and love them too – such a kind and generous gesture!
TINA P – I went to college with the lead singer and the founder of Pink Martini – they are two of the most interesting people on the planet, and what they have done with their group (and why they have done it) is so great! Thanks for reminding me about them – I must catch up on their latest!
Thanks Tracy for the wonderful tags…will be attaching to my son’s Valentine’s for school and his Grandparents…love them so
Valentine’s Day this year will be the 25th anniversary of my husband and I’s first date. We then got engaged at Easter (2 months later!) and then married Labour Day weekend 5 months later! We are postponing our celebrations till our trip to New York on the 27th – I need to find a lovely romantic bistro to visit there!
I love valentine’s day! All goodness together: love, chocolate and red!!! Gotta love that!!!
Big kisses for the valentines! Thanks so much!!
Laura and the Girls
Tracy
I have last year’s too. I especially love the one with the black fish! These are beautiful, thanks again for the pretty artwork!
The Valentines are more beautiful than any I’ve seen, thank you! I am just in love with the layers of collage. I love your catalogs for this, so anytime you share these little extras with us I’m completely thrilled!
Tracy, you are truly a glowing light for so many. I read the posts over the past few days and what inspiration I’ve found from catching these small glimpses of “embracing life and its rawness” in different times, places, and points of view. It certainly is all in your perspective how you choose to do so. Thanks to all of you lovely ladies for sharing your stories, thoughts and ideas. This blog could so easily turn into a book of shared inspiration! Sending all big hearts and hugs!
Hello Tracy, I do like your valentine’s…I looked at some today while shopping with mom and none of them hold a candle to yours. There was only one even remotely similar that had that vintagey feel. You do good work, thank you. I think I’ll use your wonderful valentine’s instead of purchasing any…yours are much better. I will of course put my own spin on them.
P.S I had a blast making my own cakes and tiered cake plates too!(using pretty plates and flat style champagne glasses, you glue them to the bottoms…another great glue gun project. I decorated the cakes ala Tracy with lots of candies on them. I Can’t wait to eat them…but their almost too cute to cut into. thanks again. k
