Good Morning Tracy….I am trying not to feel out of sync….We have company staying with us….and went out to dinner with a large family bunch…so I couldnt watch the radio show….Now If I let myself I could go into a panic mode….turn angry, have a bull dog face and actually bare me teeth….but instead I will fake it and do the sweet thing and try to smile…I am frazzled….and its 2 below outside and I feel frozen but will peel my lovely orange and have my cup of Java, which I place my hands around to warm up and get on with the day……So very happy to see that you have a video today and cant wait till I get my package in the mail from you….I told my hubby this AM….he may have to journey out with his sister …..and join the others tonight without me….LOLOLO…I want to listen to your show….its like getting plug into electricity`]`]`]`]`]`]`]`]`]`]`]then I will be wired for 2…20!!!!! I pray your day will be good and again so lovely to see your face! < !

It’s a beautiful frigid winter wonderland today. I’m in the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest (WI) and every single branch is frosted with snow. I’m just hoping that the weight of the snow will not break the branches/trunks of the cedars and evergreens as they are bowing down to the ground. I absolutely love these two looks. The jacket is on its way to me, but now I think I must have the sequinned top and sweater! Thank you for showing us how to pull these pieces together. I’ve purchased many things from your current collection. So many pieces to love…..

Tracy, you are be-dazzling me to no end!!! I am realizing how many possibilities I have when it comes to black…….I always play it “safe” and wear flat black on more flat black (you know what I mean, I hope). I am slowly starting to see how boring my look is and how wonderfully hip, chic, comfy, creative your approach is. Actually, one day I realized you have subliminally slipped into my wardrobe and found myself putting combo’s together that I would have NEVER worn before(and loved it)!! Valery, you have to get to the radio show…TRacy talks about “perspective”. Don’t want to give too much away…i feel your sentiment!! Be-dazzled, Margie

Tracy, a question for you! You mentioned yesterday on the radio shoppping for a few lovely older women…that’s where I’m stuck. What to get a 70-something Aunt who is oh-so practical but I wish to spoil her a bit?
Love the new video–I absolutely wear more of my clothes more often since I found you. Thank you for the inspiration! Not to mention jollification! My husband loves to jollify as much as I do, and he fould some very cool new lights this year–rice lights. They look like, well, large grains of lit up rice–and they’re perfect for a small spot indoors.
Happy day to all of you from snowy Vermont!

Well, What the “hay”………..this hot house lilly is starting to shiver,………..Winter has arrived indeed loves………….. Pulled out the cashmere sweaters last evening,…that means its official!!!!!!!! So happy to pop in here early today. Demi is taking exams, so i have a bit of quiet time.
TRACY love, thanks for the reminder……..wearing sparkle during the day IS acceptable!!!!!!! I have your black sequin top from last winter, wore it out to dinner last weekend with the leopard Gypsy Duster turned INSIDE OUT………and OH MY…………………..what a Drop Dead look!!!!!!!!!!!( that red and gold Asian lining is killer)…….I needed TP business cards to hand out!!!!!!!!!!!! (maybe you should design something that we could print out and carry with us in our purses) KAT in TX,…i say break the rules baby………and wear white,……….as long as it will keep your booty warm. The fact that snow is white, tells me that white is cool for winter!!!!!!! Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Won’t have time to check in tomorrow…………….. after class, I will be heading into the operating room for the weekend…..no silly souls, I am not the patient! I am the sassy nurse who keeps everybody in line, especially those cute little narcissistic surgeons………..they love to see me walk in cuz they know I run a tight ship and nothing gets by me!!!!!!!!!!!!……….So,……. see you loves next week. Try not to miss me toooooo much!!!!!!!! Happy Cheeseburger Friday……………

TRACY….forgot to tell you I think handles on the green TP bags is a GREAT idea….repurpose, recycle, reuse!!!….CAMEO….a stroke of pure brilliance turning your Gypsy Duster INSIDE OUT!!!….what a resourceful girl you are!!!…haven’t added that beauty to my wardrobe, but after this tidbit of inspiration, I just might (especially with TP’s generous discount!!)…until we have TP cards to hand out, I’m handing out her catalogs in the meantime…one is included with every order and rather than recycle them, I carry a couple in my handbag to hand out to inquiring admirers!!!…I donned my white jeans today with a black cashmere turtle and black leather jacket, pink pashmina, TP’s green suede flats from last year with the big, honkin’ rhinestone embellishment on the toes, and a TP cocktail ring….go for it, girls!!!…..warmly, Kat

I just received the simonetta blazer at my doorstep last night–love it! (of course) Am wearing it today with the snowflower tank….Tracy, I wore the snowflower tank over the scenic route top last weekend and it was so cute. I agree…these are things I would have never tried before seeing you and your videos. Kat, good question about the white but i’m sure it would look great on you–esp with a little tp up on top! I also have to comment that I received the dream-of-me blazer last night and if you have not taken a look at this I recommend you do! It has this incredible flower detailed collar and this material that has a little sparkle to it–adorable bell sleevers and the lining–ah, the LINING is to die for! LOVE it! I have so many items from this seasons’ collection I’m having to make up places to wear them!!! :) lovely day to all…stay warm! oh, and cameo..thanks for tip on turning the gypsy duster inside out…I just love that piece but hadn’t even thought of doing that–perfect! Tracy, I agree with Cameo….when I am wearing your things I ALWAYS get asked where I got it. I can tell them “tracy porter’ and they think they’ll remember but then don’t. Maybe you should think about putting little “hand out’ business cards in with your shipments like you do those little thank you notes. Also, love the idea you mentioned on the radio yesterday of putting handles on those green bags…I have so many of them and they are lovely but if they had handles they would really get used…and your name would be out there, too.

Hi Tracy! I enjoyed listening to your radio show late last night (after my kids were tucked into bed). I love listening to all your holiday tidbits-so enjoyable. I especially liked listening to you talk about taking things into perspective…. my husband lost his job last week-but we are trying to stay positive. My husband and I keep talking about how much worse our situation could be. It is so important to keep things in perspective during trying times-thanks for reminding me of that!

Tracy – could have used you many years ago – I am a magpie and i think i love sparkle a little TOOOO much and so this video was a great lesson for me. There is a difference between looking chic and like looking like a parade float……

As for kid’s going out dressed inappropriately, my 14 year old son has refused to wear boots for 3 years now. We live in Canada for goodness sakes! But he’s gotta look cool….

Hello Tracy! My magpie, Eva and I really enjoyed listening yesterday. My daughter had the good fortune two weeks in a row of being able to listen to you live. Last week it was home unhappy with new braces, this week it was a snow day. All your gastronomic talk (and after all the shoveling) made us ravenous for copious amounts of pasta with Viking Gold, our university creamery’s artisan cheese. Nectar of the Gods! I know a Wisconsin girl would enjoy a cheese antidote. My most recent TP box has made me a very happy woman. Such joy for me just to open my jewelry case to stare at my earrings hanging up in a lovely row. We really enjoy having you in our lives.
xoxo, Kristen and Eva
P.S. Eva requests more info on the BWK.

Jen, I’m sorry to hear that your husband lost his job. Perspective is important. My husband was also laid off and we were very scared but in the end, it all paid off. He found a job that he truly loves, much more than the one he lost. We can look back now and say that it was meant to be. You will get through this! Happy holidays

I just got a chance to listen to the radio show tonight, great ideas about wrapping gifts. I too like to add toppers on the packages candy, ornaments, etc…. Tracy I would love to see a picture of your tree decorated. We got ours up today and I feel like I need to change it up alittle. I need some inspiration!!!!! I also have read the Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, it’s a very sweet book and a quick read, so I think you girls should check it out. KAT, I forgot to thank-you about the input on the shoes!!! I loved your detailed outfit with the pink pashmina and Tracy’s green flats from last year. I’m jealous I wanted those sparklers. I missed out!!! Off to enjoy some holiday cheer with my honey!
