Great radio show Tracy! Putting the tree up early sounds like a great idea. I know alot of people who could use a boost of cheer the holidays always bring. Living in Minnesota I believe we both suffer from “zone envy” when it comes to gardening! Oh well – I could not live without the beauty of the changing seasons and I have a feeling you are the same way. You must know I am so addicted to your website and products it somewhat frightens me. My wonderful husband even commented, “does a day go by that you are not wearing something Tracy Porter?” Lately, no. Anyway – I am rambling but just wanted to tell you I am a huge fan. Happy Thanksgiving and God bless!

I think it would be fun for your next show, to maybe have the “cowboys” talk about their favorite things that they do at Christmas time! Oh, and what are you going to do with the kittens? What do they look like? Are you going to name them? Tell us all about them!
Bye!

Tracy,
I loved your show today. You mentioned that it’s more exciting to give than to get and you are the “Queen Bee” of giving! You had so many give-aways and special treats it was mind boggling. Bless those little 90 year old pen pals of yours. I think it’s those little touches that set you apart and make you the inspiring role model that you are. It was also so much fun to hear the voices of some of the long-time bloggers. Have a great Thanksgiving, I know ours will be better because of you!

Darling Tracy….You had me running around like a chicken with no head today! I listened to your radio program while I was foil highlighting my hair at home. Everytime I heard you mention a special surprise for us loyal TP devotees, I had to drop what I was doing and run for a pen to take notes. I loooove the prospect of being gifted new Tracy Porter dinnerware! Dennis and I are registered currently at PB. Nice dishes, but nothing compared to yours! The pattern would be so perfect with the color I just painted our very tiny and quaint dining room. (Tess our Golden Retriever puppy, by the way, thought dipping her paws in my paint pan 2 days ago would add a nice touch by adding puppy paw prints to our freshly cleaned carpet!) In the end, all is well and looking oh so Bohemian Cottage Chic. I love your show and just listening to your joy filled fresh take on everything. I’m jumping online right now to get that fabulous faux mink jacket (thank you for the special radio promo). Please pick me Tracy, your dinnerware would be so very loved by us. Hugs and Martinis….Nancy

Hi Tracy,

I so agree with you about choosing who you are! It is important to take that time to decide the kind of person one wants to be. I do that in every area of my life. We play so many roles in our lives-Mom, wife, sister, friend, teacher, coach, athlete, arist, teacher and so on. I ask myself,
“What kind of Mom do I want to be?” “What kind of friend do I want to be?” Then I act on it. Voila! I become the kind of Mom, friend etc, I want to be! So much better than just going along without ever thinking about the kind of energy we are putting out into the Universe.
Your children are lucky to have you teaching them about creating their self-image at such a young age.

I loved hearing from people from the Blog on your show, too. Glad you are enjoying it so much. Merci, merci, merci…
Happy Thanksgiving!…Linda

Hello Tracy & crew,
I finally got to listen to the entire show live today,I really enjoyed it and thank you so much for your generous gifts! It was like talking to girlfriends, I love that you take calls. You inspire me in so many ways, today I decided to get our tree early, I have already tagged it. We have a small Christmas tree farm here in NH, it is just a small family business yet we always get our tree late, because we are busy doing so many other things, next weekend for us! Yet we do have a new puppy, a Bernese Mountain dog, in part inspired by your Newfies, we have been on the fence for years and finally did it, we also have a ten year old Golden and she has really taken to him. I just wonder how he will be around the tree?
Thanks for everything and for the reminder to be true to ourselves, to let go of the “perfection ideal”, and enjoy each day in a unique way.
Cheers,
Kathy

In fact, I know I will wear that jacket a lot straight into the New Year. Wishing you, your family and all of my fellow Tracy Devotees a joy filled Thanksgiving! Hi Tracy!
Great show today! I thought about your dilemma in regards to putting up your Christmas tree early, so I thought I’d throw my two cents in.
I am ALL about Christmas, the earlier the better, music playing, treats baking, etc. but there’s something to be said about wonderful family traditions as well.
When I was a child my parents set up the most wonderful traditions that have now carried on to our families.
You spoke about all of the men going out together and cutting down the tree together with such fondness it seriously made me jealous (I live in So. Cal). It just sounded so lovely and I bet your boys love it!
I say stick with tradition! (or have two trees this year)…
xoxo

Tracy, you made being on the radio so comfortable! It was such fun to chat, and you were so gracious in person, just as you are in your videos and on the blog – no surprise there! What I love about the things you design, as you know, is how they somehow GO with everything I already have! I hadn’t considered Katsina pieces with what I have, but now that you’ve offered them as a giveaway I am seeing that they WOULD happily join my collection of dishes and plates! How do you do that??? Fun show Tracy, and yes we are the home of the wayward kittens/cats. Even our neighbors cats find their way to our door. One neighbor accused me of bribing the cats with catnip!!! Don’t need too!!! Also, when my oldest was 2 we were living in Europe and a little restaurant that we frequented had the most wonderful escargot so after a couple of times of him getting a luscious snail from our plates he decided that he no longer wanted to share and as soon as the waiter would come to our table he would order escargot for himself. He, as we all, also loves smoked oysters and smoked clams!!! We always have those among the goodies on New Years Eve!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!!

I have just found and fell in love with your brand and website. Do you have any older catalogs that I could get from you. I just received my first one and I would love to see what all I have missed. I can send money. I was a chef but after a bad car accident, I have to work from home on my “good days”. I am teaching myself fashion design, sewing, serging, and fiber art (mixed media art, actuallly). I was so insppired from the first catalog, I would love to peruse any older issues you might have and not need. Thanking you in advance, I am
Sincerely yours, Gayle Rush
P.S. I did get a degree in Woment’s Studies so I love the empowerment issues you suggest to the readers. Thanks again!
