My fellow Anglophile’s…..we can celebrate the release of another ROYAL gem quite soon! I am sitting with bated breath…as you know my love of the Royals! (well you do now) If you have not heard of this movie “The Young Victoria“….then raise your glass with me and let’s do a cheer! Looks like a luscious view of the young Queen Victoria and the love of her life Albert. I am sharing two links with you, check them both out as they are quite succulent in their own ways…..makes me want to get out the hammer and nails and start slammin’ more stuff onto my London wall! Apparently she is hopping over the pond and into our theaters about December 18th! Perfect timing for me to grab my beau…go have a cocktail and then some popcorn and nachos at the theater!! So…will you go…is this for you!!? Grab some inspiration from the amazing rooms, costumes…and gardens….!

Hey, Tracy….can’t wait to see the movie….had not heard about it, so thanks for the heads up….Victoria and Albert were true soul mates and theirs is a beautiful love story…and movie nachos…YUM!!…allow me to DIGRESS a moment…while walking through Macy’s costmetics dept. yesterday, I was stopped by TWO sales associates who inquired about my ensemble!!…I was wearing the Magpie Bohemian duster over the Seville Tapestry sleeveless shirt with jeans and leopard haircalf ballet flats…they loved the bright colors and PATTERN ON PATTERN…natch, I told them to check out TP dot com…wearing your designs is SO much fun…it’s all in the mix!!…durls, if the Magpie duster isn’t hanging in your closet, you should snap one up for yourself….you will LOVE it…cheers and happiness to all!!….warmly, Kat

I was thinking about topics you could discuss, and although you’ve not really touched on it before I would love to hear about parenting strategies and techniques. I love your approach to life in general and sometimes my kids make me so crazy….maybe you’ve got parenting to tips as to how you make rules but still let kids be kids. Just a thought…..

Well, Tracy, this Shoe Fashion video could not be more timely! I just received my Joie De Vivre Booties yesterday and they fit perfectly and look amazing! The button detail with the little strap over the toe are so pretty to me. I have to also say that the leather itself is as you say, just buttery and lovely and silky to the touch. I am thinking the red ballet flats are next on my list. xoxo

P.S., a bit of Victoria + Albert trivia….she was devasted by Albert’s death and wore black for the remainder of her life….very rarely ventured out of Windsor Castle and trips to London for public appearances were almost non-existent…he was truly the love of her life.

The trailer gives me chills! If you’re looking for an oldie but a goodie on video everyone, I do like “Wings of the Dove.” Ah, bittersweet love triangles.
