Tracy Porter Blog… be inspired!

Hello Tracy,
I love the new catalog, the ease of use is really great, I love how fast you can access each page, picture, etc. The web guy really did a fine job.
However, I am also a tactile person and love the paper catalog. Sometime I find it quicker to pick up and browse vs. starting up the computer, logging on..I’ve also had the catalog with me and been able to share it with friends, a little easier than firing up the machine. Either way, love…..I also love that your co. is not afraid of new techie ideas and have such a great web site and now online catalog.
P.S I got this new tea called Enchanted Forest, smells like the black (cherry) forest, yum. I thought of you.

Such fun! I have to tell you, why I’ve become hooked with your company- on a cool fall afternoon about a year and 1/2 , I walked away from my mailbox with this really cool looking catalog I had never heard of before. The pictures, the background and the clothes were glamourous, eclectic and so beautiful to look at. I loved the idea that the beautiful models looked to be “regular” women that looked my age, and different sizes. I even showed my husband what a neat idea I thought this woman had, it was so close to my vision of myself (only way more glamourous you are! (but now you make it easy to pretend I can be!)). I kept the catalog for inspiration as I do anything that inspires me, (so I have a stack of ripped out papers from here and there ..), anyway, to make a long story short, that was YOUR fall 2008 catalog. I looked at for all sorts of ideas, it was DRENCHED with so much goodness. It took me a few months to find your website, though the address was right there, and I discovered even more absolute coolness. Tracy, I never write to companies, or rarely even blog and get social, but the radio show a week or so back where you teased and said not to throw out your catalogs when we de-junk I thought to myself I’d never throw out that first catalog I got! Which is big for me because clutter un-inspires me, so I throw those things out right away! You make this cool, you make it fun, and its neat that I found you all. Great Job!

Tracy….who do you want to be?????? Or do you want to be more than you are…..what are your goals……..You are so Serendipity and Stupendous anyway….but I know you are onto other things….what are they….

Its cloudy today…..but I am siked…..are you still watching American Idol??? Tonights show should be good…..love being entertained with music…….And is TODAY YOUR BIRTHDAY???? I DONT HAVE ONE AFTER 60……..I CELEBRATE EVERY SINGLE MONTH AS MINE…..!!!! lololo

While I really enjoy looking at the catalog online, I find absolute and thorough pleasure in sitting down with my cup of tea, mini post-it notes (that say LIKE IT, LOVE IT, GET IT) and page through the paper version. I stick my little posties everywhere and take inspiration from every single picture! I grew up in rural Fond du Lac, and find something very comforting and reminiscent in each photo.

I received your first catalog….and never thru it away….then noticed I could go on line…..wowowowo and I found you…..you keep updating and updating…..notice in our email box’s….blogging, at one time pictures…..from us…..now on line catalog…..I have been able to touch base with you……I have enjoyed your site….I am always anticipating your next move…..I do miss your videos……seeing you act and reinvent yourself….thru demonstration….you must do more and get it out there in the market…..TV presentation…….time spot just to let everyone know you are out there…..your line of clothing and etc……….

T, you guys are just tooooo brilliant!!!! ……the on line catalog just makes it so much easier!!!!!! And the fact that you can enlarge is even better!!!!! I am depending on my readers more and more everyday it seems……….so this is fantastic!!!!!! Tomorrow is the big day loves…….I’m baking a Shepards Pie,……dyeing white carnations green,….. with green food coloring in crystal vases of water,……setting a green leafy tabletop……….using your Verdi green goblets, T…………how delightful!!!!!………must fly for now………

Well, for me the online catalog is another layer of options and goodness that you have made available from your Wisconsin studio to the world! I find it easy to navigate and beautiful to behold…but it’s true that there’s nothing like a little Tracy in the mailbox, to thumb through with delight when the time is right. By the way, the little treats you have been enclosing with orders are so much fun, and so very sweet of you!!! xoxo

Oh Tracy! You know i love the new on-line catalogue – am a huge fan and so thrilled to be able to browse to my heart’s delight. It is 50 degrees here today – very unusual for this time of year in the maritimes! I can even see some grass! Glory be! Will be drinking margaritas on the deck soon!

Valery: you will LOVE it…very comfy, roomy and just divine. I don’t knowthe other tunic…will have to check it out.

Tracy… the new online catalog is nice… but… I DO SO LOVE having one sitting by my favorite chair to browse at my leisure. I’ve only received about 3 catalogs, (I’m SO late to the game) and I haven’t had the heart to throw one out. I know this is a huge expense… I wouldn’t mind buying a subscription to your catalog… wait… you should do a MAGAZINE in your spare time… LOL.
In all seriousness I would hate to see the hands-on catalog go away, but I would be a fan no matter what!

P.S. Not to seem crazy, but I even cut two things out of the last catalog and put it on my inspiration board in my closet… love it!

Hello Tracy…

YES ~ I AM that Jan!! Dad finally retired after 32 years teaching and administration!! Remembering all those school days at the “country” school is so much fun, especially when I share with my own kids.

Seeing all you’ve done and become is really fantastic AND I am SOOOOO glad that you’re out here sharing everything with us.
