Love these videos. Tracy the wide shot of the den was fabulous. The pillows on your chairs are yummy, love turqoise and brown together and with your red paint it is almost too too wonderful. Flea market shopping with you would be such fun. I have been known to score a treasure or two myself. LOL
This is FABUlOUS FRIDAY..you girls had me cracking up! I loved seeing each of your treasures. First, Tracy, I had seen some of those shoes (from foot binding times) in a hotel in Guanghzou, some new , some very old, and wanted them soo bad, but alas left without them…why I will never know, but am sick about it now! One of my favorite treasures are some small pewter English army men…if you will, that my mother-in-law gave me years ago. I have other treasures as well, but agree, they didn’t cost alot, but are worth a bundle in memories~
Tracy & Sarah,
Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, TREASURES! Thank you for letting us see a piece of what makes each of you “delight”. Sarah, I have my Gramma’s blue/white butter dishes as well. They are truly one of my favorite treasures and I use them often–each pattern different–my kiddos “call” which one they get to use at dinner. Ladies…Have you heard of Mr. Linky (ex. check out http://www.theinspiredroom.net today)? It would be so much fun to be able to LINK together and GROW the Tracy Porter community for the “INSPIRATION FASCINATION” discussion….It would be like an adult version of SHOW AND TELL…but BETTER! You and Sarah, pick/show the topics..we join in by linking a post with photos/video of your subject choice! Each post links back to TP BLOG! How much FUN would that be????
You two are so cute! Two heads are better than one sometimes and it adds the humor and meaning ( true friendships who truly understand one another).
I’m so addicted, I feel like a stalker! My best friend was laughing at me the other day because I talk about you like you’re one of us-BUT YOU ARE! Thanks so much for your inspiration!

Shawn, I find Mr. Linky to be very confusing. Sorry I can’t give this method my approval. Am I just too tech challenged? LOL My son would say “Yes”!!!!!!
Girls,
I love this video! Sarah, I laughed the hardest at your buyer’s remorse story! I am exactly the same. Thankfully I have a friend who pushes me along as well…sometimes I just really have to think a purchase over.:) By the way seeing what you both wear is just one of the many treats on these videos for me. Sarah, the coral shirts look smashing on you! Are they part of the spring collection or just some of your own? I am in the process of choosing what great clothing items to purchase from this newest line and they are all making me drool! Have a great Friday, ladies! Your site is such a treat!
Okay Ladies,
I am at the airport…….I am laughing..( you know, that loud, from the base of your lungs laugh ) my booty off at you two… and people are looking at me like I have been nipping from the bottle tooo early…. …….strangers began to slowly creep up to me and nose in on your conversation……afterwards, I am educating all lovely ladies about Tracy Porter…… what an event! I do so love the concept here,… and I love the tiny blue.. portion control.. dishes that Sarah treasures…. and Tracy, the tiny people you have collected. I lived in New Orleans,( the real deal…. French city in America ) for several years, and have plucked so many tiny figurines from King Cakes. Now I must search for and display them! Thanks for a FUN and eventful FRIDAY morning loves!
I’m laughing because Tracy is wearing the Sueded Artisan Vest in this video (doesn’t it look great?) – maybe she read all our posts as we raved on and on about it over the last few days! Cameo, thank you for your kind comments about my desire to wear it inside out to show that beautiful lining (see Corn Bread and Scallops thread…)!
So Sarah, what loveliness are YOU wearing?? Spring line items?? Do tell – you look gorgeous too!
Such wonderful treasures you both have. I love Shawn’s idea about linking up – it’s inspiring me to GET GOING on setting up my blog!! If more people were plugged into the kind of mojo that these videos transmit, I swear there would be much more happiness and joy in the world. Thanks for a great sendoff into the weekend!
Tracy, one of my favorite treasures is one of
your designs- it’s a box with circles cut out on
the sides where you insert a photo. The circles
are out-lined in stones and the box itself is a black crackle…..oh, it is devine…..I love,
love, love it. I put photos of my most loved
treasures….my family. Oh, by the way, being
from Texas(born and raised) cornbread is a staple in my family so I am going to try your recipe…it looked yummy! It is very simular to my grandmother’s. Love the videos..Thanks for sharing! Carol
Great video! Loved looking at all your nifty treasures. I’m inspired to go hunting for some of my own!
I love the idea of a trip to NYC (or anywhere) with all of you….
I can always count on you amazing gems for a huge smile in the morning, you truly make us giddy! The inspiration we share with you and you with us is entirely crazy good! I have this vision of each of you…do you do this? We feel that we know you each by your marvelllllous writing styles…..a drink in NYC is just a must!
Can you imagine all of us…oh…that’s you…bla, bla…bla…cheers, how would we ever stop talking…..trouble is all i see!!!!! Too good! Cameo, happy travels lovely…what fun, do share when you are back! Thanks for sharing us with the “air-por-tees” around you as you laugh! I hope you get to Freemans….walk all around in there and be nosey, too cool….
Angie…I’m afraid you and Sarah may not ever be able to shop together…would either of you buy anything? ( i will video her next time she does this….you will laugh)
Shawn, i need to check out MR.Linky…who is this fellow? Charline, we’ll take you….just jump right in with us..this is a very inspired happy group of amazing people…terribly addictive, I might add!
Dawn….aren’t those little shoes killer, they are made of paper….I bought 3 pair…in HongKong.( one of my favorite places ever!!!) I am always in search of candy vessels….these are it!
Love that you have the pewter army men! I have a collection of lead people and animals…some trees etc. They are sooo cool, i will share them, we create little vignettes with them. John and I bought them years before kids in London…before portobello road got so darn pricey…tough to find a $5 dollar treasure there now…seems to me more of a “lookers” market…
.We have even more good fun spring fashion on it’s way here, will be a few weeks yet, i am off to shoot those videos right now, got my big old cup of tea in hand…supposed to reach 45 degrees here this weekend…i may just go skinny dippin’…..ala the polar bears!!

Tracy, I’ve given you a Blogging Sisterhood Award, go check it out and pass the love on!

Of A Certain Age
I cannot tell y’all how happy these videos make me! Seriously!!! It’s like chatting with a friend each day.
So inspiring! Thanks for the ideas – I’ll start going through all my boxes of neglected treasures today and find ways to use them. Tracy, I love your London wall – I have some things just waiting for my wall if I could just get to it! Sarah, I’m curious where your wall is and what color you painted?
Oh you girls are just too much and how I miss you all…
Tracy, I love the “belly” shot… seriously, it’s what I look like right now (without your skinny little heinie). And you know, I do a “Ella” journal as well! I love that you cut out pictures and stuff… I must get started on my “Vera” before she arrives! It’s a heatwave!! Love the 40 degree weather and sunshine!! Happy Weekend!
~J
Hey girls- I really do look forward to checking your blog to see what little bit of happiness and color I might see for the day. SUCH eye candy when I browse around on here!
Okay, being the Texas girl that I am (and I heart cornbread, too!), I think you should check out (if you haven’t already) “Cowboy Boots, the Art and Sole” by Jennifer June. Talk about inspiring- tooled leather, colorful designs, beautiful subtleties, worn boots that you KNOW have a story- it’s really an awesome book! And so cute- a little chunky book that can be displayed or placed anywhere…
Keep up the creativity- and all the great ideas.
Cool, I’m happy to see that I am not the only one to collect little stones from everywhere, I find many heart-shaped ones, what makes me think love is everywhere. I thought I was crazy, but it seems I’m not the only one ! So, very re-assuring. I love the little Hong-Kong shoes too and the vase is also a true treasure, without speaking of the birth-book, that is so great for your sons, Tracy, and the carved-wood menu is amazing, it’s actually genuine art.
The little people make me think of the “feves” we put in the “galettes des Rois” in France. They are very searched for now, even in France. The little people carved by John is amazing. You have a very talented husband, Tracy !
Thank you to Michael as I managed to open the video window wide today.
All that is very funny and cool.

You two are hilarious… your own coffee talk! I love it… so inspiring!!!! As you know, my home is pretty pared down (I don’t like a lot of stuff), but I do LOVE my treasures… most of which are flea market finds… I don’t put anything in my house unless I love it… forget what my husband or anyone else thinks! I can’t wait to go treasure hunting with you soon T! Love, Annie
Y’all are a riot. We would cause such a commotion in NYC; but what a blast. Tracy & Sarah could take us to a flea market there…to collect treasures! I’m all about silver, Tracy! Cannot get enough, tiny & tarnished is fine with me. Your journal is priceless…
…too much fun girls!!! thank you for all of your banter… we so thrive on it here at the studio!!! Today we’re shooting dozens more of our little product videos….as new (luscious) items are arriving each week. (we think you’ll be excited)… Have a wonderful weekend and thanks as always for the momentum… it feeds our soul!!!
Kathy – my london wall is in the heart of our living room….huge hearth on one side…. and london in all her splendor right across. My walls are currently dressed in a yummy bright artichoke green paint (makes me happy)….. we’ll have to shoot an inspiration fascination segment from there…. perhaps….

Tracy and Sarah….love love love this 2nd “Inspiration Fascination” video. You two have such a pure friendship and I can see such a bond between you. How magical to have something so special. Tracy, love how the opera kicks in once in a while. So funny. And Sarah, please show your London Wall in the future. Would love to see. I have three now in my home since these amazing videos. BTW, I think those are Tracy Porter glasses you’re drinking out of and just wondering what’s in there????? Truly, thanks for something so wonderful to watch. PS–Sarah, please give up the source of that picture. My father-in-law lives in Montello and I would love to check out your local markets. (I promise I won’t embarrass you, well, not too much anyway) JK
Jeanna, I wondered where you were. Hope the pregnancy is going well. We’ve missed chatting with you darling! Please don’t stay away so long.
Jeanna!!! I was thinking of you this morning, I just told Sarah… when is Jeanna gonna pop that little Vera out! (If only it were that simple!) So good to hear from you… miss you too!
My sister-in-law (she blogged above) is due in a few short weeks also… Annie, thanks for blogging! We just knew you were all treasure hunters, keepers… all that good little stuff that just melts your heart…
Thanks for hanging out this week! We have an awesome lineup for you for next week… lots of fun stuff to share… thanks for soaking it up, scraping the bottom of the pan with us… sucking out the marrow!! It’s Friday night… pizza/movie night at our house… what are you doing?

Jeanna…how far along are you? I’m 5 1/2 months along now and already feel big! I loved seeing Tracy’s belly shots in her baby book! We are having a heat wave here this weekend, 50 degrees on Sunday so I think we’ll hit the beach for some overdue belly shots of our own! Best of luck with your baby!

What fun this one was! You ladies are just too cute:) Loved all the treasures and especially your hand-made journal Tracy. How sweet that will be for your boys to have one day… one day FAR from now:)
Happy Weekend girls!
Sarah – What inspiration it would be to see your London wall too – please do a segment there soon! I have alot of green in my home too – love it. I’m so jazzed after I see these videos, I want to get right to it: paint a wall, put up pictures, go antiquing, cook, etc. If only there were more hours in a day!
Tracy and Sarah – I have NEVER commented on a blog before, but have been lurking around here for quite awhile. (In fact, I anxiously await the Tracy Porter email in my inbox each morning at work and then sneak over to your blog with my cup of coffee to start my day off with some inspirational beauty!) I am SO inspired by all of your wonderful treasures in your second Inspiration Fascination and love watching the two of you interact together – a true friendship!! I, like you, love to fill my home with “treasures with meaning” and not something that’s simply off a store shelf and there to fill space in my home. Please continue to inspire us all – your enthusiasm for all things inspirational and fascinating is truly contagious! I’m also in LOVE with the top that Sarah’s wearing in this video! It’s absolutely beautiful on you, Sarah. I am the very happy owner of Tracy Porter shoes, jewelry and home decor, but as much as I LOVE your clothing, I haven’t taken the plunge and ordered anything yet. I have a question on the sizing… I haven’t found anything that’s smaller than a small 4-6 and I wear a size 0 – possibly a 2. Will you ever offer a smaller size for those of us who desparately want to wear your beautiful clothing?! Or, do some of your size smalls run extra small?? Looking forward to the next Inspiration Fascination video… DM
Robyn, would love to see you do a vignette from scratch in your home. We could learn so much. Tracy has done this for us and it’s wonderful. Now, your turn. LOL
By the way, Gretchen, my sister, did her bedroom walls chocolate brown, we were inspired by you!!! Your den is yummy.
Sarah and Tracy: There is a very old issue of Traditional Home Magazine that features small plates like Sarah showed hung on a Christmas tree. Yes, I still have that issue and it is probably over 15 years old! The woman was a real plate “nut” and hung her “finds” on her tree.
I keep the Holiday Issues, and just went to the shelf to report that the issue is Holday 1995! She used saucers and hung small blue and white asian vases on as well (something I still do) Ok, ok the holidays are over. I was enjoying reading everyone’s blog late last night, and was delighted to see Robyn was blogging very, very late! I too am enjoying various goodies ordered from the sale, thank you!
I’ve been meaning to ask what is the process, who, how many work on the fabulous color schemes, fonts, etc. of the headers???? This blog page changes so often and every time we get notice via email; the first glance makes me swoon. The entire website is EYE CANDY!!!!!
Tracy & Sarah….this is my favorite of all time videos…just love love the treasures you shared. It spoke to me so much, because I have stashes of treasures too…little pinecones from places visited, swan feathers collected by my hub and me at the rate of 1 a year from yearly summer trips to the mtns, a cabinet of mini everythings, special seashells my children have found over the years. No one will ever know the meanings, but i know. Thanks for having such big sentimental hearts wtih us!
Sarah…..can’t wait to see your London wall!! When can we see it??
Sarah, I love your quote, which I know both you and Tracy share….and that is “imperfections are where the soul lies…” gotta love that!
I also want to apologize for bustin’ in on the scene a few posts’ back with enough enthusiasm to blow you all away.(and not in a good way) ha I was just so excited to find your website, Tracy. :-/
jenny
Denise, thank you for commenting…we LOVE, LOVE hearing what anyone has to say, so thanks for putting yourself out there, hope you will be a regular fabulous blogger with this group of amazing people! As far as sizing goes, the smallest we offer as of now is 4-6…our goal is to offer a larger range of sizes as we grow, please hang in there with us! we will get there!!! I am so glad you own our shoes , jewels and home decor, thank you so much for shopping with us!
Pam, 5 1/2 months….not long now!! I remember so well….too well! Embrace every moment, it is meloncholy when you know you are done having kids…..enjoy every little baby kick and wiggle that you feel!.
Virginia, we have a crazy talented group that designs all headers, graphics, film editing,etc…..I tell them they are all “freaks of nature” in a very delicious way….they work very hard to come up with colorful enchanting designs for the pages and blog….i clap with delight every single day because the creations are amazing, thank you for acknowledging all of them….we have a great crew top to bottom….! We are terribly grateful for each person that works with us, they all pour their hearts into their work! We are a small but scrappy group!
Elle, thanks for shopping, glad you are loving your goodies!!
Happy day! I am creating recipes as we chat, just took a little break to say hello…..I love writing recipes, trying out new ideas….i am delighted that you enjoy them as well!
xo
Oh no!
Went to order pretty green shoes, Miss Divine, and my size is sold out!! Please tell me I am not too late. Thought they would be divine for Valentines.
Sarah dear… you MUST share your favorite “junk” spots in the Fox Cities!! I’m dying to know!! Pam… I’m 8mths prego… and super anxious to meet my little girl!! Ta Ta
Thanks Tracy for your thoughts! I am absolutely enjoying every moment of this pregnancy as it most likely will be my last
Although my husband would like to keep going, my almost 41 year old body is getting tired! We did find out it’s another boy (3 boys and 1 girl for us!)… best of luck Jeanna with your baby girl!
Hi
Tracy and Sarah! Love the video! I am going to write your saying of your ‘Imperfections are where the soul lies’ on my wall… that says it all! Sarah I think your little blue plates are from a child’s dish set, I have the same one, except I have all the pieces and the original box, my grandmother gave it to me. I truly treasure it!
I feel like I can’t start my day without this website… Thank You!
Hi Tracy and Sarah,
I must say that this video is one of MY very favorites as well!
The love and warmth and delicious heartfelt friendship comes across most of all.
To see your pure delight in your little treasures is wonderful. I feel the same way about the ‘little’ (read BIG) things that touch my heart and soul as well.
The comfortable way you are together and are willing to share with all of us is SO refreshing when so many things we see so often in print and on the internet.. are ‘glossy, shiny, and just not real.”
Thank you for that gift.
Isn’t life beautiful when you put your heart in it?… Amen.
