Hip & eclectic statement pieces!
To say we are SQUIRRELLY over the launch of our new furniture collection would be an absolute understatement! Lots of you have been sharing in our excitement, drinking it all in with us... so thank you! Check out our little video clip to see more of the pieces up close and in person - since no amount of words or photography can truly do them justice!! (I admit I'm a bit biased here...) Let us know if there are other tidbits we can share about any of these beauties... Or, if you've already ushered them into your own home... we'd love to hear what you think! You know us, always dreaming with our eyes open... so the feedback (both good and bad) keeps us grounded!

Oh I do so love the new catalog and especially the furniture and chandeliers. While I can only drool over your gorgeous chandeliers - how stunning that one looks hanging in your barn! Rustic with Glam ... like me! - I have taken to enbellishing everything in sight! Your book is a source of endless inspiration, as is every catalog and blog entry I receive. (Check out my latest creation www.jacquelinegates.blogspot.com)
Thank you for showing us all how to make our lives so much more stylish and scrumptious, while still keeping our homes warm and lived-in.
Regards,
Jacqui

Love the "real life" snippet that we got! You keep things so real, Tracy...Thanks! :)
You guys have outdone yourselves with the furniture line! It's just so exquisite and you didn't skimp out on any details.
Once again, great video, full of info... not to mention, I adore the sequin black top with that AMAZING turquoise drop necklace. Ah, my heart skipped a beat when I saw that beauty :)
Tracy, I am confused. Is the gold coin ring back? It's on line one day and not the next. Also, did you close the back of the "well bred beauty"? Wasn't that open? As you can tell, I have been ring shopping.
I'm still waiting to see the foyer...pretty please!!! I was disappointed we didn't get another view of your home.
Oh, this coffee table is devine! I love that's it round,..and the cabinet gives me goosebumps! I have one similiar in my kitchen.. I'm inspired to recreate this with my own! Thanks again Tracy team!
BTW~ love the "realness" of the video,.. you guys seem awesome!
Hi girls!! Thought I would pop in here!! Gold coin ring... alas, I believe we sold our last one. A Well Bread Beauty... the back was open on the sample ring we had here for the catalog and once we receievd all of these lovely gems, we discovered the back had been closed! Hence the two different images--we always try to get everything just so, and of course roll wiht it when things get turned upside down--as we do with all things in life! So glad you are enjoying the videos!! I must say, I think my fav (it's hard to choose!!) would have to be the elements cabinet! Makes me a little sweaty... xoxo & ta-ta katie
My favorite piece is the ruby red ottoman. I love the bamboo type legs, the leather top and the hand painting. It's very special.
I've never been a HUGE fan of nesting tables, but i must say, I adore those. They are beautiful:)
Tracy, we'd love some more enchanted living videos.
Is everyone at the studio playing an april fool's joke? Nobody's home! They left for the day...well, except for the poor dear who has to post all these!
Hi There!
Glad you like the video, thanks! We will get back to the house as well and get you some of those in the next month. I love your passion as always!!! Melissa, I do have a love affair with nesting tables , I really think it's nostalgia fro me, my grandma Lucy really used them...they are not only beautiful but quite practical as well. We gave ours a cool nod to modern with the "soleil" in gold on the tops of each, wish the videos could capture the finishing details, glazes etc. those are some of my favorite things.....but we are trying to give you as much of a snapshot as is possible.
xo
Trace, I know,it is hard to capture all of those luscious details that your products offer. I have the same dilemma when posting photos of ours as well.
But knowing your quality of work, I can imagine how great the details are on those tables:)
Tracey, I love the furniture. My favorite of all is the red ottoman!
Off the wall Melissa, what are you doing here? You get around girl! :-) Hey!
I happen to love nesting tables, and yours are lovely, Tracey! I just recommended them to a client. So practical in a small space! Of course, my grandmas always had them so I agree with the nostalgic feel!
Melissa
Tracy , your spoiled bloggers are ready for new video. Any chance of that? Please!
Hello ladies!
Oprah was amazing!! I'll let you all know when the show we taped airs.. it was about "Amazing Kids!"..too cute! Chicago was too much fun as always ;) Beautiful weather,.. in the 50's,.. I broke out the red heels ;)
Great weekend too all!!
Jeanna darling, so glad you are back. Can't wait to hear the details. TaTa
Oooo la la Jeanna....red heels! YES!
oh, definitely you'll see new videos, we post them every few weeks so we'll get some to you really soon, thank you , thank you for asking for more!!
Hi Tracy-I'm loving the new furniture line, especially the hand-painted leather accents (that barstool-oh my god!)
I've been a fan of your work for years now. Homestyle & Dreams From Home are books I return to whenever I need a creative jumpstart. Thanks for the inspiration!
Best, Michele
Oops, I accidently posted twice, thinking my first one didn't go thru-Sorry!
Oh...the red heels:) Oh la la! I can't wait to hear all the O gossip!
Tracy,
I love all that you do! I think we were separated at birth. . . your lists of indulgences, 'do you evers' could mirror my own. As I embark on the development of my own clothing line I look to you for inspiration. When I feel that I don't have the funds to do what I want I re-read your 'chicken coop' article.
You are a shining example of a woman that has built exactly the life that she desires. May you have much more success in all you do!
Jeanna, it's time for you to tell us all about OPRAH. We love details! I know it was fun.
I've been a Tracy Porter fan for years and today is the first time I've ever gotten a catalog. I hate to think of what I've missed out on! every inch of the catalog is gorgeous! I want everything in it! And, hat a darling family you are! I've just spent a delightful afternoon reading your blogs and watching the videos. Please count me as a huge fan!
I am so glad you have found us !! thanks for all of your kind words! Loads of goodies coming down the pipeline....we are working on some very luscious designs right now....apparel and jewelery for fall that is making me wild! Cannot wait for you to see it!!!
xoxo
Tracy, now that you are back please show us the stairway in the indigo blue hallway. You mentioned new rugs. Can't wait to see the completed room.
Yeah, Trace, would love to see the pics. I actually was meeting with a client and I brought up your stairs. She was so excited that she is going to do it as well. haha, and we haven't even seen it!:)
Hello darlings! It's been so long since I've last blogged,.. and what chatter!
The Oprah show was on Amazing Kids,.. I need to keep checking her webpage to see the weekly schedule when it will air. Oprah is so beautiful! She came over and chatted with some ladies in our section,.. my mom and I were like,"pinch us were on the Oprah show!" She was only 2 rows from us...the whole day was very serial to me. Her whole studio was so nice,..what an experience!
Okay,..all this chatter on boxwoods... where do I get these gems? I'm more of a wildflower type of gal...blackeyed susans and such.. but I'm liking the boxwood idea ;)
The chatter about animal hair is pretty simple in my life... I own a broomvac (very essensial with toddlers too) We have 2 beautiful longhaired girls (cats) that I could not imagine a day without! My routine is broomvac,..and vaccum (i'm also allergic) and like everything else in life you learn to deal with it. People who know me well know know matter what extent I try to remove the hair,.. I always still have some on me ;)
Tracy,... oh my gosh,.. Hong Kong... I'm peeing-my-pants excited to hear details!
Have a wonderful day! Warmer spring weather just does not want to come to Wisconsin :(
Jeanna, find the boxwoods at your local garden nursery. They are not the type plant to find at a grocery etc... Good luck! Glad Oprah was such fun.
Jeanna,
So glad to hear from you!!!! What a cool experience @ Oprah. I love the way you chat. Peeing-my-pants- excited may be my new favorite description! I am leaning toward some boxwoods as well. Artist and Tracy will convert us yet. Ta-ta...
Jeanna! What fun you had on Oprah. It's one of those life experiences that just makes you smile! So glad you and your mom enjoyed it so much!
Virginia and Jeanna...once you to boxwood land you'll never come back! Low maintenance beauties that they are.....fabulous in winter as you can take little snippets from them to decorate with in just so happy and shiny all year long. Here in Wisconsin we cannot keep them in planters year round ...but many of you can and they are just luscious in planters flanking the front doors....we plant pansies around them for a bit of color.
Girls, some good videos coming today...stay tuned.......I am really listening to you!!!
xoxoxo
