Behind the scenes... our NEW summer catalog video!

Our NEW summer catalog will be arriving any day now... can you handle it?? We've got even more amazing FASHION items to share with you… everything from colorful, flirty tunics to smashing necklaces… gorgeous wide belts to sassy, golden earrings. (If you're not on our mailing list... what are you waiting for???)

To tide you over... we've put together some great behind the scenes footage of our photo shoot... check it out! You'll see some of the new catalog pics "in progress..." As many of you know, everything takes place in our own home, so you can just imagine the beautiful chaos of it all... the entire transformation from top to bottom... kids and dogs running through shots... me noshing on (what else) earl grey and donut holes... Quite the lovely, noisy, exhilarating scene!! Enjoy!

xoxo,
Tracy

It also makes me wish to be photographed while filming a movie about being in a play, onstage, wearing every single item in your catalog. Tracy, thank you for all you do for the rest of us.

Brilliant, and cute all at the same time.

Hi Kate,
So kind of you to ask about my London Wall. It's in my foyer that is 2 stories with a staircase. The walls are taupe and the trim is white. The floors are hardwood and I have a crystal chandelier and an oriental rug. Very traditional. The wall is floor to ceiling with my paintings. Most of them small. Most of them colorful and more modern, a good contrast. There is a huge mirror on another wall and depending where you stand the view can be doubled. I also used some architectural fragments and plates that another artist had done for me. I did not use photos-kept it art.
Tell me about your wall. Are you doing one? It was fun to do!!!
Virginia has also done a great wall. I saw photos last night.

Happy Birthday Jeanna! With Mother's day this weekend you must be loving all the special attention! My husband usually ends up doing a few really nice things for me on Mothers Day including changing ALL the diapers, which I love. I'm looking so forward to it. Ofcourse, I have to return the favor on Father's Day, but that okay-- its still worth it.

Artist, your London Wall sounds divine! So colorful too! Two stories, floor to ceiling...I bet it's beautiful. I have a wall in my house that has a grouping of 5 paintings--some framed, some not. Nothing is matchy-matchy if you know what I mean, but somehow it works. I will definitely be adding to it.

Jeanna Happy birthday!! So glad you love the mirror, I've no doubt your London wall is luscious! Your husband sounds like a love!
The song on the video is called " A Memory" by Brent Berry & Honest Abe. I love how folksy it is. Another one to check out is Gavin De graw, he is wonderful very worth getting his " Chariot" cd .His new cd is called "In Love with a Girl". If you like the kind of music I do you will dig him!
Yes, a few new videos this week, thanks as always for asking and for your enthusiasm.
Our plum trees are blooming, their heady scent makes me wild. We also have a gorgeous pink magnolia next to the studio in full bloom...spectacular. Our chicken has started laying eggs in one of our ducks nests, so now we have big white eggs mixed with smaller blue eggs, and they literally fight with each other for "sitting" time. We have ducks nests all over the gardens... the boys are out of their minds counting the days in hopes that some will hatch....( I am hopeful as well) as long as we can keep our Neufie "Kit" out of the nests.

Tracy I love that you have ducks! My Ella would go WILD!! I tried talking my parents into raising some (they also have 3 acres of marsh land surrounding them) though my mom thinks that would "push my dad over the edge" with 2 cats and a yellow lab puppy.
We love listening to all the wildlife that surround the marsh...Ella's favorite is the frogs!

Hi Ladies...

I have missed alot it seems...Happy Belated Birthday Jeanna, I too, love the sunburst mirror!! what a great guy you have! Yesterday I found a little bird's nest right next to our front door in the wall planter...there was only 1 egg, and this morning there are "2"...I think that is the closest to "wildlife" I am going to get here in the "suburbs"...but I am thrilled!!

I am working on my "London wall" too, in my entry...I do think I need to pump up the wall color though to make it just "pop", maybe Tracy's indigo???

Looking forward to the new videos this week, as always Tracy!!

Cheers

Thanks for the video, Tracy. You look GREAT in the tunic. I agree that they flatter all figure types. A big woo-hoo for tunics! On the London wall topic-it's really cool to see how personalities shine through. Artist's is orderly, elegant and refined. Mine is in our master bedroom. It makes me SO happy to gaze upon it BUT I have some random things up there, more eclectic - always the wild woman. There are 4 of us that have become great friends thru this blog. I crack up how I'm often gifted with women so opposite of me. I must drive them nuts. OR maybe I bring out the wild side: ha! Here's to blossoming this spring in our very own special way. Ta-ta.

Virginia I totally agree about the London walls! I wish we could see each others! I have 2! One in my hallway (on both walls) and one in our master bedroom. We live in a small duplex, so "crazy" painting
(this is what my landlord calls painting walls anything but beige) is out of the picture. Sooooo I decorate my walls with pictures, poems, love letters, paintings.. very eclectic!!! I love NOT following the rules when it comes to hanging my items too! I go with what "feels" right! ;) Happy Wednesday Ladies!

I know this may sound very weird and I am definitely not a stalker......but you look like a Tracy Porter I was friends with. Is Porter your maiden name and did you grow up in Wilmington and summer in Avalon? If this is not you, I truly apologize. If so, you were fun back then (1983-86)and seems like you have a really fun like now too.
