Do you ever...

* Collect old perfume bottles and other vintage tchochkes?
* Take at least five minutes (or more) to "just be" every day?
* Rummage through the cupboards when you're cooking and experiment with whatever you can find? An overlooked spice, a kicky new marinade...
* Tuck a few posies into a beautiful mug with a hand-written note to serve as a touching hostess gift, or a cheerful get-well sentiment?
* Visit your local farmer's market? Or, if you have a bountiful garden of your own... bring goodies from your harvest to share with friends, a neighbor, or an older relative?
* Skateboard with your children? Okay, so I know this probably sounds a little odd, coming from me... but with four young boys at home, I'm always open to trying new things!! Well, we recently got our boys the Ripstik Caster Board... and all I can say is, holy smokes... phenomenal! Our 8 year olds, Max and Fin, can navigate around our entire house on those things. Even John and I have tried it... such a blast!
* Hang your curtains or chandeliers from a sturdy piece of hemp rope for a more charming and rustic look?
* Use silly voices when reading to children? (Our boys just love it when John and I "get into character"...)
* Keep a gorgeous bowl overflowing with candy year-round? We do this at the studio, actually... And if I'm being totally honest, I think I probably look forward to our little afternoon sugar rushes more than anyone! Everything from sour patch kids, lollies, licorice ropes... chocolate bars...... What are some of your favorite sweet treats??

Love your site. Dont know If I am doing this right or not.
What wonderful ideas, Tracy!....Love your blog...you are full of creative ideas and fun too! Thanks for sharing yourself with us!
Hi Tracy,
I love your site and am always inspired and amazed. I love the flocked wallpaper but I think you need to paint your ceiling a richer color to make it more cohesive.
Just a thought,

Hi Tracy!!
I loooooove to rummage through the pantry for what I call my "spur of the moment specialties!" I dread going grocery shopping sometimes, and look for whatever's lying around to put together for dinner.
My husband and kids love it, and I always tell them to enjoy it because I may not be able to duplicate it again! HA.
It's so fun to experiment! I've yet to come up with a dud.
Thanks for your ongoing inspirations! xo!
I love your site and always look forward to any new post and Tracy TV but am hoping you are still doing original home decor in your Fall catalog because it looks like you are really focusing on fashion. I like your couture but I love your unique home decor!

Hope you are still going to have wonderful home decor items in your fall catalog and not just couture fashion.
Oh Tracy PLEASE!!! The home stuff is the best. Don't go all fashion, it limits so many people. We love your home decor and seeing what you're doing in your own home.
I have a darling little chandelier hanging in my very rustic family room. It sparkles with color and lights up a little corner by two windows. It puts a smile on my face each time I see it.
One of my favorite sweet treats is dark chocolate. I purchase a LARGE Hershey's dark chocolate bar for me and milk chocolate for my husband. I keep it in the frig and when I feel like it I take off a piece and indulge in it's delightful taste! Sweet treats are a must in our home and so is laughter!
Classic that each time I read one or your "Do you Ever" entries, I laugh. I'm there! Motherhood brings us together in so many ways. I will be sure to pass on your blog to other like minded friends. Kathleen in small town, Petaluma, CA
