Wild about flocking

Adding a spectacular accent wall in your home is a fantastic way to heighten the drama of any space, large or small... Now, a bold, rich wall color is obviously the quickest way to achieve this (and we all know I'm about instant gratification!). That's where we started in our great room... with an inviting shade of deep mocha. But sometimes, you just want that extra pièce de résistance. (Are you with me here??) Enter...... vintage-inspired flocked wallpaper! These photos truly do not do the room justice... since the final transformation was utterly jaw-dropping. I love that the oversized scale of the pattern is so majestic and grand... and to top it all off, it's flocked in a most resplendent shade of emerald green, set off by shimmering metallic gold... Yummm!!

Tracy, you need to show us this wall on a video. You know we love the details. LOL
Who would have thought Flocked wallpaper would come back???? Yours looks great.
WOW~ Delicious!!!!
It's as if you read my mind. I've been considering repainting my living room and dining room. Since the dining room opens up to the living room, I thought I might be limited to using the same color.
Yesterday I started thinking about wallpaper, but I love the idea of an accent wall. I know which wall I'm going to wallpaper.(and it will help me save money). Once again, thank you for the inspiration, Tracy.
Thanks for the new posts! Just curious....when should we be looking out for your new fall collection??? Can't wait!!!
Tracy,
I think this may be my most favorite re-do in your home yet! I absolutely love the bold statement this makes on that enormous wall of yours!
Kudos!!!!
I love the paper. I can't wait to see how you finish out the room. I can just imagine that you will put in some lucious drapes, sconces on either side of the fireplace mirror instead of the little lamps, a fabulous center piece on the table and a couple of your gorgeous chandeliers hanging over the big table. Beams on that ceiling would be great or maybe some crown molding and paint the ceiling a warm color to make it all mesh together. Thanks for the continued inspiration.
OMG! I Love this room! Please tell me where I can get this wallpaper. It's amazing!
This room now has the WOW factor! Just dazzling! Thanks for sharing!

Oh my gosh Tracy, I am so with you on Great Expectations. When it first came it, I was a teenager, but I remember loving the look of the movie...all the emerald greens and the grays. I just loved the movie for that reason!!!!!!
WOW! To die for!! I love the scale! Tracy, again you have rendered me speechless!!!!
Tracy we are soooo ready for new home videos. Please.
Is that the movie with Ethan Hawke and Gywneth Paltrow? I need to go back and watch it to see what you guys are talking about.
